A Bump to Baby Session Includes:

All of our sessions take place in our beautiful studio in Newton Poppleford, located right next to Lydia’s home—our founder and your photographer. The space has been designed to feel warm, calm, and welcoming, with parking available on the driveway and just a short walk up to the entrance.

🤍 Maternity Session – Celebrating Your Bump
We usually recommend booking your maternity session between 36–38 weeks, when your bump is beautifully defined. This is a one-hour session, including portraits of you, as well as with your partner and any children if you’d like them involved.

We have a stunning selection of maternity dresses available for you to use, or you’re very welcome to bring your own. The styling of your session is completely up to you—whether you prefer something softly styled, more modest, or a little more expressive, we’ll tailor everything to suit your comfort and vision.

👶 Newborn Session – Capturing Your Little One
Once your baby arrives, simply let us know and we’ll arrange your newborn session.

These sessions are relaxed and completely baby-led. With over 10 years of experience, Lydia creates a calm and flexible environment, allowing plenty of time for feeding, changing, and cuddles, as well as capturing beautiful family moments.

Newborn sessions typically last around 2 hours. We ideally photograph babies between 7–14 days old, when they are sleepiest and most easily posed. However, we can accommodate babies up to 8 weeks old, keeping in mind that some poses may vary as they become more alert.

During your visit, you can relax in our comfortable seating area with refreshments, and if you’re bringing older children, we have a separate space with soft seating, films, and Netflix to keep them entertained.

✨ Your Bump to Baby Package
The Bump to Baby Session is £745, which is payable upon booking. This includes:

• A one-hour maternity session
• A two-hour newborn session
• All professionally edited images from both sessions, provided digitally

If you would prefer to spread the cost, the initial payment can be made via Klarna. Please note there is a £35 admin fee for this option, bringing the total to £780.

🎞️ Your Viewing Experience
Around 1–2 weeks after your newborn session, you’ll be invited back to the studio for your preview appointment. Here, you’ll enjoy a beautifully presented slideshow of your images, and Lydia will guide you through our range of optional printed products.

You’ll also receive access to a private online gallery for one week, allowing you to download your included images and share them with family and friends. Any additional prints or products can be purchased separately, with a full price list provided. We also offer interest-free payment plans should you wish to spread the cost.

🎨 Preparing for Your Sessions
We love creating sessions that reflect your personal style. Feel free to browse our website or social media for inspiration, and let us know if you have any preferences for colours, themes, or props.

We provide a wide range of wraps, outfits, and accessories for your baby, but you’re very welcome to bring along anything meaningful you’d like to include.

For family members, we recommend soft, neutral tones and simple clothing without bold patterns or logos, as these photograph beautifully. If you’d like any help with outfit choices, we’re always happy to advise.
